2022 K 1600 GT radio reception problems

Hi all, I took delivery of a new 2022 K1600 GT in May and all is great with the motorcycle but the radio reception is a problem. The Sirius radio and FM signals are weak to the point they are unusable and the AM band reception is non existent. The dealer has been at a loss to fix the problem and BMW has not been able to offer a solution. it seems to be an issue with placement of the antennas. In 2022 BMW placed the AM/FM antenna inside the fairing. I did not have this problem on my previous 2017 K 1600. Has anyone come across this issue? greatly appreciate any advice on how to fix the problem.

I can not help with the FM, but my RT had questionable Sirius radio reception. I have an old Sirius/XM antenna laying around and bought an adapter from Amazon. I took double face trim tape and stuck the antenna to the top of the dash and ran the wire back to the radio and hooked it up. A definite improvement.
