2021 F850 GS ADVENTURE CLUTCH FRICTION ZONE

So on my 2021 F850GS Adventure the friction zone sucks. when the clutch is Disengaged (lever pulled in). You release it and it doesnt start to grab until the lever is like 90% out. I never paid much mind cause that was what I had been riding.. I also have an Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Alt rider makes a clutch extension arm that replaces the one on the crankcase. There are 2 notches on it the decrease pressure to pull lever and increase friction zone area. one by 23% and another by 47%. It makes a huge difference I use the 23% mark and my friction zone is way larger and the lever easier to pull. Riding primarily off road friction zone is imoportant. Does anyone know if something like this is availabl for the GS or is there a way to increase the friction zone any other way. Thanks in advance for any help. Heres a link to the Altrider one for the Aprilia if you wanna see how it works.

Welcome to the forum! Just curious if this action on the hand lever has been like that from the beginning. I would have thought that there's some kind of adjustment to make to correct various issues. I'm not familiar with the bike, but I suspect that there's a slave cylinder that actually does the clutch work?

Yeah its always been like that. I was just used to it until I got the 660 and the extension are youre entire pull is like a friction zone. almost as soon as you start releasing the clutch it gets into the friction zone. like I mentions the arm gives you 2 setting 23% additon and 47%. its amazing and the lver is much easier to pull too that when I bought it new. Huge advantage
