2016 R1200RT ALTERNATOR BELT REPLACEMENT

The LC 1200 does not appear to have an alternator belt based on parts diagrams... I believe (but would need to check my Haynes) that the alternator is shaft/gear-driven on the front or back face of the engine block... Or as Ron states - internal.

Unlikely. Frankly, I was a little surprised that no one mentioned the infamous fratastate or the gungulator pins.

All in good fun. I suspect gtmskier picked up on that fairly quickly....;)

Never like to see new members get the wrong impression. :wave
It’s not easy to tell with the new forum software. This was his first post.

Hey GTM -
We all sincerely hope that you were not offended or scared off by our later responses; after the question was actually answered, we just took advantage of an opportunity to have a little fun.
It is certainly not our intention to denigrate anybody, even those of us (me included) who may have shown some ignorance on any topic.
Welcome to the forum!
