I sprung an oil leak this past weekend during a trip. The leak mostly seems to be presenting to the left side of the bike and there are some signs of oil in the airbox. I first thought it could be some blow by after discovering my air filter was extremely nasty. I changed the air filter and topped off the oil level. Unfortunately the problem continued throughout the trip. I really think it is happening at higher, sustained RPM's, but I am not certain of it. I'm not losing a ton of oil, but it is enough that it is collecting on the skid plate and dripping to the ground. I am just short of removing the gas tank and airbox to see if I can pinpoint the leak and I wanted to go ahead and share what I know so far to see if anyone here has encountered something similar.
