2010 R1200RT equipped with TPMS - Tire balancing using Dyna Beads

Has anyone ever used Dyna Beads to balance a TPMS equipped RT wheel?

Is-there any problem doing so?

Can the Beads dammage or otherwise impair the proper functionning of the TPMS.

this is from their website and it appears from the wording that dyna beads with TPMS is OK.

Sounds like a potential warranty issue should a sender go bad.

Seller's opinion on website has zip influence on a service manager, of course.

I did it in a pinch on Voni's F800S with TPMS last summer after none of the five shops we found could balance her rear wheel/tire. It eliminated the thump-thump-thump for a while, but after two really hot days in L.A. and Vegas the thump came back for a couple of days and then went away again. My hunch was that rubber dust caused the beads to clump together due to the heat.

Had I not tried every motorcycle shop, one car shop, and a frame shop in Prince George, BC, while headed further north to even sparser places I wouldn't have opted for the beads, but was running out of choices.

No harm to the TPMS was noted, and the bead packaging did say "safe for TPMS".
