But what would we call it ? Stampede, no. Stomp, no. :dunno

Whoop-up, of course . . . for those that know their Canadian history.

Lethbridge ? ? ?

Why Lethbridge? I spent a week there one night caught in a massive rainstorm. Whew! Lethbridge? :help `:ha `:ha `:ha

Actually, Fort Whoop-up was a bit north of Lethbridge (nine miles or so, as I recall) and quite a ways out of the rain channel that affects the area. The storms seem to follow the river valley, and this is a bit off the path. T'was the place to be if you were an American whiskey trader bent on serving the Canadian Blackfeet and Sarcee population. 'Course, that was in my earlier life.

Aye.

Colorado?

Vegas in August

If it's Vegas, I propose that we reverse the rally hours to 9PM--9AM. The desert is beautiful at night and your tires won't melt to say nothing of your body inside of a 'stich and helmet. We could camp out at the dam and spend our days in sublime refrigerated repose at Bellagio or Caesar's.

That list also shows seven other states twice...and since the time-of-year issue has not reached the point of serious debate with the powers that be, a large chunk of the country (the chunk in which I live BTW) is a bad idea...so repeats will be inevitable.

Rally selection site

I vote for the Black Rock Desert, Nev. event location.. However the conservatives in this org. might have a morality 'heart attack'. Thus I suggest a far enough in the future selection (let say 2020), maybe attitudes maybe different...
