Does anybody else has problems putting the bags back on the bike? I do. Can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions???

Don't feel too bad. If they are like the ones on my 91 RT, they don't go on very intuitively. Is the latch able to move throughout its complete range of motion? I had to lube mine with a little penetrating oil.

Classic bags

It's a little tricky but with practice it gets easier. Make sure the attachment latch is full open position. Make sure the top molded lip is positioned completely over the bracket frame then slide bag forward. Once correctly aligned the bag securing lever will easily snap closed with minimal pressure. Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to get it right. Easier to show then explain but just keep at it and it will all make sense.
