It is what it is.
I hate helmet hair... so I keep it short with a #6 or #7, that solves the problem. At 58 my hair hasn't even started to thin yet.

I had a ball today!
It was cloudy, 40*, and virtually no wind. The wind which accompanied our last big front had blown an old, hollow tree (about 40'tall) over onto its neighboring tree roughly 20' away. Rather than use a chainsaw, I brought it down with a fire built inside the hollow trunk. As the fire consumed the trunk, the limbs slowly slid to the ground where they could be easily cut up and thrown onto the stump to burn it away. By the time evening came, the entire tree was a large pile of hot coals. I love a good fire!
