I'm curious about how BMW delivers new bikes to dealers. How many times a year? When generally? Do they take special orders?

It seems like the dealerships around here got a lot of new inventory in time for spring, but some of it is already gone. Wondering about the resupply.

I suspect Covid might also mess up what is considered normal.

Welcome to the forum, from the coast of Kansas. Glad you found us.

I cannot advise you about dealership resupply of new bikes, mine has always had the one I was looking for, regardless of the time of year. But I CAN advice you to find a good dealership and stick with them. Make sure they have a good reputation (ask around and ask on this forum). My local dealership is Engle Motors and they have a years-long stellar reputation among the riding family.
