I am getting ready to install an Autocom Pro 7 on my RT. I plan on powering the unit through Tourtech's CANbus helper. If anyone has seen a nice clean install on this model I would like to know where the Autocom unit was mounted.

do a search on BMW Sporttouring for multiple examples.
There seem to be three locations that are usually utiltized based on the owners desires.
1) tail cone
2) fairing pocket
3) tank bag

You'll be able to find examples of all three.
