Mounting PIAA lights on a 99 RT

Looking for preferred installation method for PIAA bullet style lamps on a ‘99 R1100RT.
So far it looks like drilling a couple of 1/4” holes under front lower fairing would be best idea but maybe someone out there in MOA community has a better idea.
Thx

Those are nice brackets and put the lights up high. I always wondered if they would make the mirrors even MORE LIKELY to pop off the bike.

I have a mounting plate right under the front fairing beneath the oil cooler. The lights I have are small - not PIAAs - and they have never struck the front mudguard. I have mine on a relay switched by the parking lamp. They are on all the time except when starting and the load relief relay shuts them off. Switch that came with the harness is just left on and tucked under the seat.
