GS-911 connection problems

Anybody with GS-911 experience in getting the unit to reset "service req" in the D2D mode.
I just received a new GS-911 and everything seems to operate normally but when I try to reset service function the unit says "service lost unable to communicate" but when I go to any other function it reads the system.
I have tried this in the wifi mode and the D2D mode same results.

The D2D mode only allows for emergency functions, which are built into the devices firmware. A Service Required reset is a service function and requires your GS-911 be connected either to a Windows PC running the GS-911 program or to any device with an internet connection.
