Not sure where to post this but it is about an airhead. So us members are getting info in the mail from BMWMOA about the upcoming raffle of a restored 74 R90S. My problem is they are showing a new bike from an original ad posted in 74 and not showing the actual bike that is being raffled.

Did I miss it somewhere?

I wish I understood lots of stuff. Yes, it's a fund raiser for the BMWMOAF, which does good work; but we never, NEVER get any information about the structure of the said foundation as far as how the money actually flows through it, what happens to the funds that are raised with any detail, what are the ties with how Mr. Moyer does so much good work for BOTH organizations and how does he seemingly actually run the show, and finally where are the funds from this bike being actually raised and used.
Yes it was a fantastic bike when new. I remember standing in Dave Bolding's garage in Norman, and marveling over the fit and finish when he had his NEW one. He proved it's worth coming back from the Flying W as he led the way back from that National in, was it 75?.......Whoever wins this current one will get something very special. Though someone is not "showing it off" as the true example, it will be something very very unique.............God bless.......Dennis

MODS.....DO YOU THINK THIS SHOULD BE IN "Clubhouse" rather than in Airheads????

The pictures are at the bottom of this page if you click on BMW MOA Foundation raffle. It is in the similar thread section. Click on post #2.
