GPS mounting options for the K1200RS

What are some of the options for a GPS mount on the K1200RS bike. I have a Garmin Zumo 665LM that I want to mount, but not sure what base I should use.

    Thx

I have a Zumi 695 LM mounted on my 2003 K1200RS using a RAM Mount plate that goes over the clutch reservoir. Works perfect.

Not at the moment. If weather cooperates and I can ride the bike tomorrow I will try and get one for you.

    From google, there’s this:
    https://www.motorcycleparts-hornig.c...-Mounting.html

    and this:
    https://touratech-usa.com/Store/Tour...0RS-and-others

    or this:
https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-180U with the angled bolt-mount ball fastened to one of the lower handlebar-mount clamping bolts. You’d need a longer Allen-head screw and a hardware-store aluminum spacer about 1/2” OD and 1/2” long, that just fits over the 6mm Allen screw.

BMW make one specifically for that bike. I had one on my 99.
It mounts at the triple tree. Very slick and homologous with the rest of the bike.I don't have any pics but you might have to do some digging online.
    I did find this: http://tinyurl.com/y9fyc6v5
    Here is the P#: 71607669701

    Have fun!

Actually, that number is just the mounting block itself. The complete mount kit is part number 71 60 7 683 660 and it is supposedly still available on the MaxBMW website for $106 and can be seen at http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fic...0&rnd=07242017. Mounts the GPS a bit low for my tastes, and I've had trouble before with the rod-type mounts not staying tight enough to keep the GPS from rotating. In any case, looks like it is still available!

Weather and schedule finally aligned. Here are those pics:

Was using the phone to take the photo, but it usually sits in the ram mount to the right.

I'll second Skeive's approach. I also use the Ram mounts, on both clutch and brake reservoirs, for my farkles. I use a conventional Garmin GPS on the clutch side. It's at a good height, and readily accessible to my left hand. I use the right-side mount for my E Z Pass transponder, but may substitute my cell phone to enable use of the Waze app.

Only issue I currently have is viewability (?) of the GPS on sunny days. The screen washes out in sunlight, and the tinted visor makes it worse. Anyone find a visor/shield that fits onto conventional GPSs to deflects the sunlight? Folding a piece of cardboard is not really my style.

I too tried the cut down binder, plastic sheet, etc. but finally got a https://www.glarestomper.com/ - works great and hasn't moved even at "spirited" speeds.
