Decided to buy the 2016 K1600 GTL a couple of weeks ago. My previous ride was a 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour, Polaris choosing to close the product line forced an early decision to change brands. Part way through the demo ride my wife said, "Why didn't we buy BMW in the first place instead of the other bike?" The smoothness and handling is excellent. :) The weather was less than perfect after bringing the GTL home, not riding for a couple of days gave plenty of time to read the manuals thoroughly and fully understand everything. I enjoy touring and one of these days need to ride the northeast states. No regrets after the first 1,000 miles the GTL is a good choice, I'm looking forward to an enjoyable year of riding.

Nice change up from the Victory, both can do the tour mode. ..but the GTL is a little sweeter .
