Hello from Baltimore

Hello, Good to be back on a BMW, I have been riding motorcycles for many years and have owned more then I can count. I just resently picked up a very nice 1996 RT 1100 which fits nicely in the garage with my 1986 Harley Electro Glide and my 2000 Buel X1. It seems I have a thing for twins. Other BMWs I have had in the past all air heads R69s and and R50. Looking forward to some long trips this summer and communicating with other BMW Riders.

Hey, Zblue! You're in luck - there's a pretty strong contingent of us in the Baltimore area. Check us out at www.bmwbmw.org - someone should be setting up the March Ride To Eat soon!

I went to grad school in Bawlamer and now I'm 85 miles northwest in Carlisle, PA. I still pop down now and then for a Chap's pit beef or hit Andy Nelson's BBQ in Cockeysville (it's nice to be served by someone who played in the greatest NFL game ever). If you want some suggestions on rides in south central Pennsylvania, let me know.

Guess it depends on which part of town your from,I remember it pronounced BalDeemore,Murlend:) Dont forget Bethas Mussels in Fells Point.Anyways have fun on Dee new Beemer.:wave

Thanks

Thanks, today's weather was great and I was able to get some beemer time. I have always had fast back road bikes and I am very pleased how well the RT handles on the tight twisty roads. Not the horsepower monsters I have owned but it does the job, and does it in comfort.
