Hammersly (BMW of Lynchburg) Gone??

I tried to access the Hammersly web site and was routed to another one which stated that Hammersly was out of business! Anybody know anything about this? I've used them several times for parts and was well-satisfied.

Another casualty of our current depression, I reckon...bummer...lotsa good, well established businesses goin under these days, makes ya wonder why more businesses didn't plan for this a little better, but most did not, unfortunately...

The prior owner of Hammersley owned several dealerships and sold them all to Crossroads Automotive Group. They are closing the motorcycle operation. I started buying BMWs when I lived about 5 miles from the dealership and I have bought everything I needed from them since then. Jason is a nice guy and I hate it for him. He told a friend of mine that there was a chance another BMW dealership might be opened in Roanoke, VA. Roanoke is 50 miles west of Lynchburg and is about twice as large. I hope that happens as it would only make me 100 miles from the closest dealer.

I did hear also with the demise of Hammersly another might open in Roanoke. I drove through Lynchburg last fall and knew only what street it was on and generally where it was, must not have been too obvious as I never did see it.
