Having had the privilege of visiting our most awesome east coast of Canada, I am keenly aware that it is a practical impossibility for a resident of Halifax to be "friendless".
My experience is that our Maritimers are nothing, if not friendly:ca

Although this whole post was started a bit 'tongue in cheek' I suppose, we in the east, as you state, are quite a friendly sort. Hospitable to a fault sometimes but we sure do enjoy meeting folks from other places. To the flip side though, we have a strong history of personal loyalty and a fierce defence when threatened. And, we know how to party! Come back again to the very multi cultural east coast! - Bob (see you in Vermont at the RA)

that you should arrive early, set up your tent and go touring. How early? The snow is a bit deep now but ... come on over to Pownal and we will go watch the Fourth of July fireworks. :laugh
