Friendless In Halifax

Friendless in Halifax

jus' wonderin' ..... what's this "Friends" thing about when I click on my username and look to the right side? Thanks, bob

Having had the privilege of visiting our most awesome east coast of Canada, I am keenly aware that it is a practical impossibility for a resident of Halifax to be "friendless".
My experience is that our Maritimers are nothing, if not friendly:ca

Although this whole post was started a bit 'tongue in cheek' I suppose, we in the east, as you state, are quite a friendly sort. Hospitable to a fault sometimes but we sure do enjoy meeting folks from other places. To the flip side though, we have a strong history of personal loyalty and a fierce defence when threatened. And, we know how to party! Come back again to the very multi cultural east coast! - Bob (see you in Vermont at the RA)

Shameless hijack ...

If you want to know what is going on where people are going to dash to AND get a preview of where Bob and Mary will be touring, click here.

New destinations added regularly!

no hijack at all pal, but maybe you'll get the opposite effect: Bob and Mary are there?...... maybe I'll just stay home an clean the bike :ha However, if you do that you might miss my buddy Paul F. rolling in, fresh from a break neck scoot from Redmond, looking for his Veggie Burger and Dark Beer :thumb - Bob

This is VERY tempting!

Tom, you just ride on up here..... when you roll in I'll set that propane heater down to thaw yer weary and frost bitten bones..... an' once the circulation starts again then I got some ribs 'n' beer (indoors) to sooth ya soul. Deal? We'll take good care of you 'cause we don't want noone dyin' on us here ya see. Even if your in a cage your welcome :wave - Bob

There is going to be so much to see and do in
  • Vermont
  • Massachusetts
  • New York

that you should arrive early, set up your tent and go touring. How early? The snow is a bit deep now but ... come on over to Pownal and we will go watch the Fourth of July fireworks. :laugh
