lost trip odometer button

I have 1999 R1100R; while riding the trip odometer button fell off somewhere between Miami and West Palm Beach.

I called the dealer and they don't sell the button; you have to buy the whole speedometer. Any idea where I can get a trip odometer button?

Thanks . . .

Other than somewhere on the road between Miami and West Palm Beach, no.;)

Try ReCycle.com. They have a great selection of used parts for BMW.

I wonder if one of those replacement door lock knobs you can get for 99 cents at the auto parts store will work. Beats paying 20 bucks for a genuine BMW chunk of plastic.
