Hello everyone! I am a new MOA member in Minnesota. I have been looking for a mid to late 90s GS for a while now and last weekend I finally found the one that's right for me. I am so excited! She has been sitting for the past 5 or 6 years in a climate controlled storage space so I need to start some maintenance which is something I look forward to. I remember when these were new, I was still in high school and I lusted for them back then. Anyway, happy to be here.

By the way, where do you guys get parts for these?

Welcome from the mountain west.

Generally parts are available from dealers where you find them. The anonymous book is a good reference for where they’re located. Prices don’t vary much from dealer to dealer. It helps to have part information including the correct part number. The attached website is one I use. If you know the year and model information you should be able to find the part number.

Accessories are a different story but with the internet most items are searchable. Good luck and safe riding. If you get a chance to attend a rally or two, they’re a good source for info as well.

Welcome from Newfoundland. I typically buy parts from Bob's BMW but Max stocks a lot too. My buddy was just buying bits for his GS from Beemer Boneyard.

Welcome kyleewhitney! Thanks for providing a pic! Great looking bike. I have bought parts from MaxBMW, Beemer Boneyard and Euro MotoElectrics. How is the maintenance coming along?
