RT Backup Backrest

I had an RDL with a backrest on my 2007 RT and loved it. The new RT seat is okay for me but I miss the backrest.

Anyone have the Backup version with the stock seat who can offer an opinion?

Wondering if if folds down/forward for ease of getting on and off the bike and about adjustment range?

Is the backrest you are referring to an option piece from BMW for a stock seat? Or from RDL only for a RDL seat?

This is an aftermarket back rest for the stock seat.
