Iridium Plugs?

Just ordered the Denso Iridium plugs for my 07 Dakar, IX24.

Any experience with these plugs? Better? Worse? than the normal NGK's?

Also, I have been using 87 octane (regular gas) seems to run just fine on that.
Is it okay to use regular or should I be using premium?

I found the Iridium made a difference on my 03.
 
In my 1150, the iridium's definitely last longer, and they look a little cleaner.
Can't tell any performance difference.
 
Well, I ordered them, should be here next week.
I have no surging issues etc., doubt there will be any difference other than maybe better longevity. Only cost about $8.00 more in total so I thought they would be worth a try.
 
The things that make a difference cost more than $8.

Ahh...but here's the rub. If I paid $20.00 more I would be accused of wasting money on something that makes no difference.
$8.00 is an acceptable risk...as long as they are not worse than stock NGK!

I have no surge problems so I know that I should notice nothing different. They might last a bit longer..maybe.

Regardless, It was time for plugs. I always wait until I do a valve check which is also due pretty quick.
