XM/Sirius Antenna Cable

Does anyone know of a shorty antenna cable for m/c use for satellite radios? :scratch I currently use the standard auto antenna with the CycleGadgets reservoir mount, but I have oodles of extra cable (which are currently zip tied and velcro'ed under the antenna pedestal.

Would be cleaner if there was a shorter antenna cable. My understanding is these things can't easily (if at all) be cut and spliced:dunno.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

I had a one wire mini XM antenna for my Roady that was ordered with a 4 ft cable. I can look and see if I can find it. I am using the Zumo GX30 now. That antenna was much easier to work with.

Thanks for the help--I knew I wasn't the only one.

PM'd you re: the above.

I'm fairly sure Cycle Gadgets also sells a 4 ft cable/antenna for the Roady. We were looking into that a couple of weeks ago (thought we had a flaky antenna).

I punted XM after the merger killed my favorite channels.

I have the 4 ft Roady antenna, PM me for a deal.

I have broken two jacks on the coax. I go to the local electronics store buy a new mount and install it. I think you can cut the cable down and install a new jack. Which is what the stores are probably doin' and charging a small fee!

Cut it down, if it does not work, buy the shorten cable.

I think the connector is SMB or SMA somethin' like that. YMMV
