Pit Bull Trailer Restraint System & R1250RT

I have a new-to-me 2021 R1250RT. I have trailered other BMW bikes all over and will be trailering this one, also. I've always used straps and a Condor wheel chock but the Pit Bull trailer restraint system would be much faster, easier, and even more reliable. Ever had a strap break? I did, once. Anyway --

Does anyone have experience using the Pit Bull system on an RT? They do make one for this bike. Just looking for some real-world experience.
Thanks.

I have used one extensively on my 2017 RT for several thousand miles total. I would never go back to the old chock/straps again.

Question: Will the setup work with multiple bikes. Say Voni's R1100RS, my K75RTP, or our G310 bikes, depending on which needed to be hauled?

I don’t know anything about them. Here it is for the F800GS-

Looks interesting……. I’m too concerned about a tip over and would still be attaching straps to the front of the bike. :dunno

Different adapters would be needed.
2017 when Debbie's clutch slave went out on her R1200RS in Texas we needed a haul to the shop..
A friend had hauled his k1300s there with the trailer restraint setup. The final drives were slightly different so the pin did not fit.
He also had a front chock so we used that to haul her bike to the shop.

The experience with any big hole final drive bike should be the same as your R1250RT.

Yes you just need to get the different adapters.
We know a guy with multiple road bikes and track bikes.
He has several adapters.
The Pit Bull is the most secure way I have seen for trailering a bike.

I've used one of those on another bike for years and as long as your mounting surface is strong enough, the only way the bike is going to tip over is if the entire trailer flips. That being said, I do strap the front down just to keep the bars from flip-flopping back and forth as I drive. It's very disconcerting seeing you bike "steering" itself in your review mirror.

The wethead GS, R, RS, and RT all use the same rear drive housing, so if they have one of them listed, it will work for all. Both 1200 and 1250.
The pin on the final drive will be the same but it's possible the mount on the other side may be different because of the muffler.
I think the RS and R muffler is higher than the RT so that should give more clearance if using a RT mount.

The guys I know with them also lightly secure the front to keep the front from bouncing up when hitting a bad bump.
