Rubber washer replacement on oilhead valve covers

It's time to replace the rubber washers on my 04 R1150RT valve covers. These are the washers that the bolts go through and are not the valve cover gaskets. I have replacements from Beemer Boneyard and they look correct. The original ones seem to be pushed through the hole which must have been done by a machine in the factory. The replacements seem to fill in the hole but don't all the way through like the originals washers. This seems too easy, want to make sure they will seat and seal properly. Anyone done this lately?

Its easy. Did mine last year. I also updated the screws to SS, which really cleaned up the appearance.
