The basic issue that I can see is that it's an F800GS that was running fine, made a gas stop, and afterwards the bike wouldn't start. The bike is throwing the EWS code...could be something to do with the immobilizer antenna.

correct, they are on the same wave length, no pun intended, that its the antenna, is there a work around?
