Noticed Revzilla and Bob's BMW are both offering some deep discounts on Schuberth S2—$375 with colours and sizes being limited.

Please check other websites to see if anyone is offering similar discounts. I am looking for a blue-on-white "Lines" S2 in size Large.

If you're interested in one of these helmets, be sure to ask the month and year it was manufactured. As per the Schuberth website:

Schuberth offers a 7 year manufacturer's warranty from date of manufacture, with a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase on C3, C3W and S2 helmets (whichever comes first).

The way I understand this--and correct me if I'm wrong--is that if you receive a helmet that sat on the shelf longer than 2 years, (7-5=2) the manufacture period will lapse before the purchase period. Since the 7 year date of manufacture period lapses first, your warranty period will be shorter than 5 years. I bought an S2 from Revzilla and noticed it had been manufactured a little over 2 years prior to my date of purchase. It was a great deal but I think--again, if I read the warranty correctly--these helmets are on sale because their warranty coverage is shorter.
