Have used Stitch Witchery. Works for short haul - emergency like tacking down something just before an inspection. But all bets are off when head for washing machine.

I'd bet most of the products mentioned above are the same thing repackaged by the individual brands. The question would be, what is that "same thing"? I think it could be your basic Devcon-type adhesive or contact cement, but I'd like to find out for sure.
