It's been over 35 years now but I still remember doing something like that with my Grandpa as a kid. It's a great way to build a relationship for that young man that will last a lifetime.
 
In the Chicago area, Kiddyland just closed yesterday for good. It's been open and entertaining kids/families for 81 yrs. No more. Anyone of a certain age remembers going to Kiddyland.

That sidecar ride may be the only "kids thrill ride" left. Good on you, GrafikFeat. Give them something to remember!
