R1150-RS Reparing Broken Tupper Ware

B Reams
Folks,

Well, it happens. I had a low speed tip over and cracked the upper fairing and broke one of the tabs that the left front turn signal screws into. :banghead

Sigh ....

I've used a product called Plast-aid to repair a broken Windjammer fairing wiring bulk head connection with great success and to So, used it on the BMW plastic which is likely ABS or a kissing cousin. I was very pleased with R1150-RS fairing repair.

I posted a blog about how I did the work on the R1150-RS here.

BMW Fairing Plastic Repair with Plast-Aid

It didn't take long and the repair seems to be as strong as the original plastic, so I'm very pleased with the result.

Here are some pictures of before and after.

I've heard good things about plast-aid. I have some now should I need it. Sounds like it worked for you.
