Side Stand (replacement) for 1995 R100R "Classic"

I have a Farley sidestand on my 1984 R80RT and it works great. It is mounted farther back than the stock sidestand, similar to a Brown sidestand. According to this

the Farley sidestand fits a 95 R100RT. This person reported a problem with the install on a 94 RT and has some photos.

Snowbum has photos of a Farley here

I would send a photo of the Farley on my R80 but the bike is currently parked so I cannot get a photo of the left side.

Farley machining is a one man machine shop run by Robert Van Farowe. I live close enough that I picked up my stand from the shop, he is a rider and a pleasant fellow. According to his Facebook page the shop is still in business. It may be worth a call to Bob and see if the Farley stand will fit.

Has anyone ever seen a side stand like this? It was on my 93 RT project motorcycle. The thick neck has a spring and detent ball inside. Holds the stand up and down. I will not reuse it, and am looking at all options. Engles Motors did a lot of work to this motorcycle.

Luftmeister and fits ‘85 and newer R80 and R100 monolevers.

Here’s a recently purchased Farley on a ‘93 R100RS.

I have a Farley on my /5 and it works good. I did not know he made them for the mono-lever. Will have to get one.
