I am sure there will be a time when the unemployed truckers and railroad engineers learn how to cause the diver-less vehicles to crash in pretty spectacular ways. Then laws will be that the vehicle is never at fault. We get banned from roads. When there are few jobs what is the value of a human?

Ever fly on a commuter airline? You think those folks are happy?

Truckers aren't in a good spot. Wages have been dropping since 2000 and the flogging isn't going to stop. Uber is starting a trucking dispatch service. The only thing that will save the truckers is safety regulations that limit hours on the road. But, the next trucker in-line will gladly take the work the first guy refused......So next in-line establishes the new minimum standard.
