thanks for that, I never knew, guess never thought about the vibrations causing damage to the phone.
That is too bad because I am using phone for navigation. Thank you again

QuadLock makes an excellent mount and offers a vibrating dampening device as well. It can be with or without a charging capability. You must use their case on your phone while using the QuadLock. Available at RevZilla and Amazon, but more detail about options and components here:

Yep. I believe the camera in my prior Samsung S20 Ultra was damaged from being mounted on my bike (K1600, which has a smooth running engine). Not to mention it was having challenges operating and charging in temps beyond its specs that are quite common in the south. So my new phone now rides trouble free in the jacket pocket too.
