Mirror mount extender - R100RS

Hi All:
I love my new-to-me 1983 R100RS - BUT - I find that the fairing-mounted mirrors are just too narrowly placed and all I can see are my shoulders.

I know that mirror extenders are available for many other bike with conventional stalk-mounted mirrors, but I haven’t found anything for those clever ball-socket R100RS mirrors.

I’m pretty new to the airhead scene but many other must have this problem too - and so if there is a solution, I’d sure like to hear it!

Many thanks,

Pete

Amazon

I ordered a pair of mirrors from Amazon a while back. I believe they are from Emglo

I only used the stalks, as the OM bases mated to them using a slightly longer bolt and the OM washers and hardware. This was a nice point as the base of the OM mirrors is the top fairing mount no modifications were needed.

They look pretty good and now I can see the speeding soccer moms in their Kias looking to run me down. St.
