Hi I am a old guy and have been riding a BMW K1600 Grand American. I now find that the bike is a little to much for me to handle. So I just went out and bought a 2023 R1250 RT. I would like to know what kind of engine guard works best for this bike.

I have a 2018 R1200RT. I have crash bars front and rear from Illium. His video of the drop test on his own bike was the convincing factor.

Ztechnik for the win!

I have a r106 RT and use the ZTECHNIK bars up front with illiums for the rear. I like the looks of the Ztechnik better along with the ease of service with them on. As an adder, they have a very nice nouting point for running lights built-in.

For some reason I cannot post a picture :-(
