honda nighthawk mirror?

My left mirror fell off my nighthawk this morning... What a way to start a Monday!

The metal has split and I maybe able to bend and maneuver it back in temporarily -- but does anyone know if all mirrors are interchangeable?
Do I need to find a special mirror for my year (1995)?

I found an original one for sale from a parts place but they want $50 and that seems kinda steep!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Honda? Nighthawk? 1995 what? I'm sure there are a few "Brand X" owners here, but this is a BMW forum... Did I miss something or do Honda mirrors bolt to any BMWs???

They're $57 here; little cheaper for the 250 here.

If you want a cheaper alternative, they're at every motorcycle/bicycle shop.

..but I doubt 'Motorrad' is the best place for an answer.
