Clearwater Lights Discount

I was able to get the lights working fairly quickly just using the diagram rather than the instructions. I do wish the photos were clearer. And I used wire nuts rather than those connectors they provided. What stumped me were the BMW OEM brackets.

Did you use both connectors on the Canopener, or just one?

OK if I remember correctly, when installing I disconnected the wire running from the bike to the TPS (the little box mounted on the left under the luggage rack), plugged that into the main connector on the Clearwater Can Opener, then connected the secondary wire on the Can Opener back to the TPS.

I think may have just had an AHA! moment (or was it a DUH! moment). I'm off to the garage (after my pale ale) and will take another stab at it. Let me know if you end up in Montana at the Rally next year, I'll buy you a beer.

Solved

Yep, I was overthinking it (as I said to my neighbor as he passed by the garage earlier today). Thanks again, rockbottom.
