Video Slide Show -- My Ride to Gunnison CO via WY and UT

Nice pictures and soundtrack with Mark and Emmylou. Looks like it was a blast.

Looks like you had a great trip. I'd love to get to that part of the country on a motorcycle. Maybe someday.

I liked the soundtrack so much, All the Roadrunning is now on my iPod. 99 cents well spent. Thanks.

Enjoyed that very much. Thanks, I know it was a lot of work. Did you use a particular software package to put it together? Oh yeah, great music choice, too!

Actually, it's easier than you might think. This is the first one I've ever done, though I have to admit I've edited it a number of times (tweaking more than anything). I had no idea what software people used to do these, so I asked on another forum, and several recommended Photo Story 3 for Windows. It's available free for download from Microsoft's site. It's suprisingly intuitive, and easy to use. It didn't take me long to get the hang of it, though like any software, there are a few tricks to learn.

Give it a try.

Mark, beautiful slideshow. I love the Emmy Lou & Mark K. soundtrack - haven't heard that one. Do you know if it is available on CD?

Absolutely. In fact that track, "All The Roadrunning", is the title track of the CD (Mercury Records). All twelve tracks feature the two of them.

Excellent Mark. You captured the ride well, and have memories for a lifetime. That Balancing Rock image is amazing.
