too much sidestand lean 1150gs

Anybody with a GS ever come across a sidestand that can be lengthened and clamped tight (adjustable) so a couple of inches can be added to make the bike stand more upright on anything other than a completely flat surface. I'm 5'8.5 and unless I'm extremely picky about where I put it down I have a really hard time getting the bike back up straight when I'm ready to start. If one doesnt exist I think I'm going to investigate creating a telescopic adjustable stand . Any ideas?

Jesse Luggage makes a side stand extender. Have not used one but it looks very easy to install and stands the motorcycle more up right.
