Anybody with a GS ever come across a sidestand that can be lengthened and clamped tight (adjustable) so a couple of inches can be added to make the bike stand more upright on anything other than a completely flat surface. I'm 5'8.5 and unless I'm extremely picky about where I put it down I have a really hard time getting the bike back up straight when I'm ready to start. If one doesnt exist I think I'm going to investigate creating a telescopic adjustable stand . Any ideas?:idea

Hi,

Jesse Luggage makes a side stand extender. Have not used one but it looks very easy to install and stands the motorcycle more up right.

side stand extender

I have one of the Jesse side stand extenders and am very happy with it.
Makes the bike much easier to stand upright.
Easy to install.
Typical Jesse quality.

I'm glad mine leans hard.
I had my 78 R100/7 blow over at work one night a few years ago so I'm a bit paranoid with my new 1150GS.
