Throttle cable replacement and TB rebuild, now what?

I finally replaced all three throttle body cables and the "choke" cable on my old R1150RS, using my son's wallet since he's the new owner. I also rebuilt the throttle bodies with the kit from beemerboneyard. After all this, the bike cranked up the first time and idles fine, which is a good thing. I've synced the TBs on this bike for many years, but I have never had to do it after the cables were replaced. When I run the bike up to about 3000 rpm with my Twinmax installed, the needle is swinging to about "3" on the right cylinder. Trying to adjust the left side out to match the airflow on the right, doesn't seem to work very well. Is there an initial setting that someone could suggest when you install all new cables? I have made a rough adjustment on the adjusters on both handlebars, and also where the cables run into the TBs. The bleed air adjustment screws are both set about 1.5 turns out from the stops. Also, I am having an issue with the Throttle Position Sensor setup using my GS-911 (I posted that separate in the Gear section this morning), and I'm unsure if the first thing you need to do is get the TPS adjusted prior to syncing the TBs. :scratch

Yes. You should get the TPS set properly or the Motronic will not know where the throttle butterfly is positioned. Make sure there’s free play in the throttle cable for each side.

Michael, I think that's where the problem lies. I'll have to look into it further, but the GS-911 doesn't seem to recognize the bike. Below is what I was getting. I think once I figure that part out, I'll be able to use the tool to set the TPS within the proper limits. I saw some old posts from Roger 04RT where he states:

R1150
A GS-911 is easier to check that the TPS signal is within range but from measurements on my bike if the voltage at idle is 0.35 to 0.38, the Motronic can register it with the following procedure. The exact voltage does not matter.
A) Remove Fuse 5 (or disconnect battery ground) for 5 minutes, then replace fuse.
B) Key On
C) Fully rotate throttle twice
D) Key Off

I tried the above, but may have tried to read it again after the throttle rotations without turning it off. Whatever happened to good ol' and condenser??? :banghead
