The Single Malt Whisky Thread

I see you have the 10 year old Talisker. Try the 18 year old. Incredible, and I was able to light the wood stove without matches!

I'm embarrassed to post mine. I have to keep an inventory spreadsheet and store it in several locations to minimize spousal concerns. :drink

I noticed you included The Balvenie, which is my current favorite. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

After watching that and thinking about whiskey, I just had to go and pour me a glass.

Balvenie is one of my favs too..it’s light enough to be “breakfast Scotch”

I am still hoarding a few bottles of Balvenie Week of Peat.. too scared to open any more of them until I can buy the next batch.

Newfoundland Distillery just released their first 3 year old whiskey. I tasted it and it was very good considering. Sadly it was sold out in 24 hours so I missed out. Otherwise I'll stick to beer as the sticker shock from single malts is beyond me.
