Temporary phone mount and power

In September my wife and I will be taking the Alps and Lakes tour with Edelweiss Bike Tours. We are both riding R1250 RTs. I'm looking for a cost effective temporary phone mount so that I can use my phone as a GPS. Removing bolts to install a mount would likely be frowned upon. I currently ride a K1600 GTL, but the handlebars are different.

Also looking for a power solution that's going to avoid cables hanging out in the wind.

My gal and I rode with them a few years ago, great tour ,very professional. If you call them they will tell you if you can do that. Your are riding a fairly new 1250 so they might have the route(s) plugged in for you. So I would contact them for any info, they are really easy to deal with. Have a great trip!

This worked for me on several tours before scoring a used Zumo. Power comes from the switched lead to the accessory socket. Heavy duty velcro attaches the iphone case to the NAV cover...very secure. Be aware that the low amp charge will delay but not prevent depletion of the iphone battery over the course of a day when using Google Maps for navigation. On a rental, you won't have the charging option. The NAV cover is about 15 bucks, iirc.

A RAM Claw might work for you.

I use a holder like this on my bicycle.
