Hi!

I'm looking for someone who lives there or know someone who does. The reason why i ask for a contact is, that i'm a great fan of airplanes. But the licence and the price for flying are too expensive to do this for fun - in Austria.

On my trip thru the USA next year it would be awesome to visit this air park. Because i've never seen a place where planes crossing streets or park infront of a house. This would be an absolute spectacular memory.

There USED to be a restaurant at the airport and the way to gain access was to go the restaurant. From there which is also by the FBO you can see some of the homes that that have a hangar attached to them. Most of the taxiways are behind the homes but occasionally you could see an airplane crossing the street. I'm not sure if the restaurant is still there though. Spruce Creek itself is a gated community though.

I just looked and airnav.com no longer lists a restaurant on the airport (it doesn't mean there isn't one though). Here's a few web sites about the community and airport though:
