Do you fellow 'carists' have video of your hacking exploits?
If so post 'em here.

Please refrain from YouTube exploits of others...
Yours only.

Aside from the pleasure of sharing it can open some good discussion(s).

I'll start since I recently reposted this on YouTube and got all sorts of emails.
Hence the idea to start this thread.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words...
Therefore a video must be... :brow

Enjoy...

Nice video, I have developed a bit of a fascination with side car rigs. Your whole rig seemed to ride very smooth but I have a feeling your camera set-up might have been part of it. Maybe you could let everyone know how you did the set up. Thanks Gary

I'm with OM, tell us how you mounted the camera!

Love the sound track! What is it?

What surprised me in your video was how straight the roads are. Every time I travel to far away places I'm amazed by things like straight roads and horizons with no hills in the way.

Very nice Jim. As I have no eye for taking pictures, it always amazes me when shots (video) like this appear to be effortless and come out so good. :clap
Like Pete from Vermont I think it would be cool to take my Flabadore retriever along for a ride. Thanks, Gary

In all honesty... They are kinda boring to watch.

The music credit escapes me but I have it on the YouTube page where it resides...

Ah summer! The sun does shine on the West slope of the Cascades!

I need to get a camera rigged up next season. Thanks for getting this thread going.

Once I get mine running (might not even wait that long), I'll toss up some videos.

Well, I need to find a video editing program..

I have plans to use mine as a training device.
That is record myself in various exercises.

All I used was iMovie that came w/ my Mac. Basic as it gets.

U Tube stopped the music halfway. Shaffer trail is always a good ride... uphill!!!

Be well... Ara & Spirit

Kinda curious about your technology. What/how are you mounting the camera on the chair guys? I'm really impressed with how steady these images are.

Great selection of music as well.

I use the GoPro camera on "5" setting. It is true HD. For us it is easy because I have a crash bar on the sidecar right behind Spirit. I also have mounts in the front. Those cameras come with all kinds of mounts.
Here is another one from "The Oasis", our Base Camp in the winter while going to the mail box. I cut that path by hand last year! Trying to avoid the traffic... :scratch

Here is another one from my favorite road "Gravelly Range Rd" one can take from Ennis, Montana, and go and get lost for days. Just be careful with the Bears. They are of many.

I have the 1st generation gopro. I need to upgrade.

Not to this POS. This is a Nikon P&S. Worthless.
Although... In it's defense I tried a clutch reservoir cover mount.
This is the last place you want to mount video.

Regardless, here is the result:

It ain't got nothin' on Ara as I'm still in the experimental phase.
A new gopro should change that.

Cool Video... Keep 'em coming!

These two videos of mine drove home the point that location of camera is very important.
These two may as well had been strapped to a car.

Which has sent me back to the planning stages.
I just picked up the GoPro HD. That should help.

Did you know that GoPro is going 3D? That should be interesting...
