So….. I’m new on here. This is my very first post on the forum. Just joined the MOA a couple weeks ago. And bought my first BMW motorcycle a month ago. I bought an S1000R. With all that being said I’m in love with a lot of things, but not in love with the seat. In the past I had a Honda VFR 750 with a Corbin saddle, that was a comfy seat. Lately it seems like all I hear is Sargent Sargent Sargent. So tell me, who makes the comfiest seat for the R? I’m ordering one this week. Just not sure which way to go.

Sargent has very good customer service. If you don't like the seat you can return it. I think you have 30 days to try it.

Finally did a long ride on my Sargent seat; 1600 miles in 6 days including a 300 mile slab at the end. It works fine. My elderly butt still starts getting sore in a couple of hours but it never gets terrible. I have a hard time imagining a better seat short of a Russell Daylong or Seth Lamm seat.
