Rusty screws on a K1200GT

Hi,

I own a 2007 K1200GT with 172,000Km on it, still working fine. Just a little problem, the screws holding the disk brake are getting rusted. I keep cleaning them but it always come back. Anybody else having this problem ? I may have found a way around it: My bike share the same part number with a 2009 K1300GT for the front wheel and the disk brake. The only difference are the screws. Mine are M8 X 25 where the K1300 has M8 X 27, 2 milimeters longer and the following code is different as well, which mean the metal used to make them is different. I ordered them from my dealership, I will let you know if it solve the problem. Hoping to help some fellow with the same problem.

Pierre
