The fairing has to have some cutouts for it, or you get templates which allows you to cut the holes.

What if I have a passenger?
Would it be dumb of me to build a mount that bolts to the valve covers like I have seen on some oilheads?

The only crash bars that did not require cutting holes in the fairing were made by the French company Jouvain
