Replacing LED turn signals on 2004 R1150R

A previous owner installed LED turn signal assemblies on my 2004 R1150R. They are very dim with rows of bulbs are burnt out and I would like to remove them and install the stock assemblies. I did the front no problem. However the rear turn signal stalks seem to be buried in the fender and I can’t tell how to get to the bolt to remove them. Nothing on YouTube that I can find and surprisingly nothing on Clymer or Haynes other than showing how to replace the bulb.

Does anyone have a procedure or can point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Paul

Since your question involves an Oilhead model, it's best that the question be posed in the Oilhead forum. No need to move it or repost...a moderator will do that for soon!!

There is a 19mm nut on the inboard side of the stalk, just like the front.
