removable systems top case for Adventure

Does anybody know of a way to mount a systems top case (easily removable) on an Adventure without doing a $1,000 worth of seat changing back to a standard GS? My buddy wants to be able to quickly take it off (counts out the BMW aluminum topcase) and have good padding/backrest for his frau (that's wife for you non-German speakers

Does anyone elso make a padded, removable top case for the Adventure? He's trying to decide between an Adventure (which he wants), and a GS, which his wife is comfortable on. Also, any comments on the comfort of that big flat Adventure seat in regards to the passenger? Thanks.
