R75/5 Engine Overhaul San Diego Machine Shop Recommendations

I have a 1973 R75/5 SWB. About 4 years ago the last flywheel bolt sheared and that is when I decided to do a complete teardown and buildup. I finished the teardown. Never did the buildup. I built something else instead. It is now time to build the airhead.

Since a prior owner of the bike must have really ridden it hard to shear off all the flywheel bolts I want to get the engine completely overhauled. I have seen recommendations for the heads (Ted Porter at Beemershop), but I need the cylinders, connecting rods, crank and cam checked and repaired as necessary. Does anyone have any recommendations? I live in San Diego.

Shops that can work on transmissions and final drives would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you in advance.

Rob

Welcome to the forum! Irv Seaver BMW in Orange CA is a well respected dealership. Probably would be good to check with them for help and/or recommendations. Also, Dave Campbell Motorcycle Service on Mission Gorge Road in Santee is a good name to know.
